est. 2012
The Cairns Bongo Group is a registered non-profit cultural association founded in 2012 by a group of Bengali families. Our primary objective is to promote and preserve Bengali heritage in Cairns and Queensland. We warmly welcome newcomers and assist them in integrating into the community. Additionally, we organize various events and celebrations to showcase the rich traditions of Bengal. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the diversity and multiculturalism of Cairns, fostering greater understanding and appreciation for different cultures.
